While spending long days in the classroom, my mind seemed to carry me elsewhere on a daily basis. My passion for the arts saved me. Writing and music saved me.

At eight years old, I developed a shield which protected me from the normal world. It was made up of music classes, my free writing hours when I would sink into the spring scent that Mrs. Kagen would mist throughout the classroom, and eventually, the entire collection of Harry Potter novels. In 2001, my elementary school teacher submitted a poem I wrote about an author, and it was published in a book. The ink has been flowing ever since.

My love letters were eventually addressed to the animals and the earth. I believe that we have only one planet to work off of, and I’m determined to organize all of our efforts to minimize waste, and protect the natural resources and precious habitats that house millions of creatures across the globe. I’m strongly against animal cruelty, and I’m the individual who can spend hours talking about the various methods of sustainability and recycling. Anti-palm oil products can, and will be found on my IG account.

From the dive bars of Brooklyn, to the mountain tops of Montana. From the Dead Sea in Israel, to the ancient streets in Firenze. I’ve explored various countries across 4 continents in my 28 years of life. My partner and I share a jar of dreams where we deposit our ideas for future adventures.
